Daaayyyuuuumm! I thought I'm already cured of this addiction of mine years ago. You see, ever since I stopped working (May 2003), I also stopped buying make up. Don't ge me wrong, I still use make up, certainly not one of those who, & may I quote Meryl Streep in the Devil's Wears Prada, "think that they are better than everyone, that they couldn't even care about what they look like anymore". Certainly Not! I loved make up, I remember each time I get my pay, I would always be at salons & make up counters...hmmmm... Nevertheless, these days, I use make up only on weekends, when my husband & I would go to the malls. Back then, I had so much make up that I never really emptied a pot, tube, stick, jar, palette etc. etc. I had so much make up that I always run out of space in my vanity. My mom, sister, aunts & officemates were always the chosen heirs to unwanted / unused cosmetic items ('coz seriously, there were those that I never touched). Those were the days. And I thought they ended...
Okay, so let me tell you how I relapsed...one day, being an avid YouTuber, (curse you YouTube, by the way), I always look out for tutorials for Photoshop, this is one of my addictions as well, anyways, YouTube, would give you recommendations of similar videos, right? Since my search word was tutorials, the site also sneaked in a "tutorial" about applying eyeshadows...and then, instantly I was hooked...again... I got so absorbed by the colors, the brushes, the finishes...long story short the monster inside me awoke again...aaaarrrrggggghhhhh!
So now, suddenly realizing my deprivations, I'm like...on a rampage...I'm beginning to think about the many, and oh so many, make up items I want...need...crave...heehee! Not a week after relapsing, I ordered online my first palette after six years of not getting anything.

This is what I got, the Coastal Scents 28 neutral palette. I got this from Dollface Cosmetics. It's the palette used in many YouTube eyeshadow tutorials, they came highly recommended by many of the users & they say it's comparable to Mac. First time I used it, I'm really impressed. It's highly pigmented, just a little swipe of the product is all you need. I like mixing & matching, & they come in different finishes, some are matte, satin & shimmery. I can say it's worth my P850.

Okay so that's that, now for the others. I compiled a wishlist for my next purchases. I came upon this mineral make up brand, called Ellana, which I think is so cool, because, first it's made in the Philippines, and it's Mineral! They say it's safe for sensitive skin, gives good coverage & highly pigmented as well.
